Programme Overview

Essentials is a structured twelve-week academic programme grounded in essential Islamic knowledge. Fard Ayn refers to the knowledge that every Muslim must seek to practise their faith. This programme has been developed to equip students with essential knowledge in the sciences of Creed, Jurisprudence and Spirituality. The acquisition of this knowledge will allow students to become confident in their beliefs and daily practices whilst increasing their spiritual connection with Islam.

Programme Outcomes

Develop an understanding of the essential matters pertaining to beliefs, worship and spirituality.

Provide students with the requisite knowledge in order to practice their faith on a daily basis with conviction and correctness.

Equip students with intellectual and practical skills deeply rooted in the Islamic tradition, enabling them to live a life of servitude to Allah and protection from satanic insinuations.

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • All applicants must be over the age of 12;

  • All applicants must have a good understanding of the English language;

  • All applicants must be dedicated and committed to the programme’s aims.
