This course is designed for young learners seeking a solid foundation in Islamic Studies. It serves as a complement to madrasah education or as a continuation for those who have completed their Quranic studies.

Course Outcomes

Develop a well-rounded understanding of key Islamic disciplines essential to one's faith and practice.

Provide students with the requisite knowledge in fundamental fields of Islam in order to apply them and adopt them in their lives.

Equip students with intellectual and practical skills deeply rooted in the Islamic tradition, enabling them to engage in conversations regarding Islam and dispel doubts and uncertainties about their religion.

Cultivate a moral, ethical and spiritual state through the teachings of spirituality, allowing students to connect with their faith at a deeper level.

Course Structure

In accordance with the academic calendar, the programme is structured into four terms.

Term 1 - November to December,

Term 2 - January to Ramadan,

Term 3 - Post-Ramadan until July,

Term 4 - September to October.

Entry Requirements

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows;

  • All applicants must be in the Y7 to Y9 school year;

  • All applicants must have a good understanding of the English language;

Parents can stay updated through our online portal, regular progress reports, and termly meetings, ensuring they remain informed and involved in their child’s learning journey.

Looking Ahead

By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in Islamic Studies and an introductory taste of Arabic. This grounding equips them with essential knowledge for daily life and further learning, while also creating a pathway to progress into our part-time Alimiyyah programme for deeper study.

Alongside classroom learning, students will enjoy periodic trips and sports activities that provide a healthy balance of recreation, teamwork, and practical learning experiences beyond the classroom.

In contrast, textbooks quickly become outdated as new editions are published, so their usefulness is often limited to a single class or academic period.
